Puppy doesn't make you blue Apr 17, 2004
By Beverly Bernard We received this blue puppy blanket as a gift for our newly adopted daughter when she was eight months old. She showed a preference for it immediately over her other blankets or toys. She sleeps with this puppy every night, and at 15 months has now taken to dragging him everywhere. We have washed the puppy numerous times and he looks like brand new. This toy is sooo soft. It is great for a tiny baby up to an older toddler. We will soon be buying another one to put in reserve in case bad luck should befall the original!

My baby's (& my washer's) best friend! Feb 04, 2005

My baby actually has the lamb (which I paid $25 for somewhere else!) Even then, it was still worth it. It has always been in her crib with her and now she cuddles and plays w/ it before, during, and after sleeptime. It serves as a nice 2nd (lap) blanket too. As for the educational aspect, "Lammy" gets more kisses & hugs (learnign to love is VERY important I think) than mommy and daddy. It's the one and only stuffed animal that you actually need. BONUS: It's machine washable and dryable, really! "Lammy" has been spit on, snot-ed on, vomited on, and dragged across the country and still comes out fluffy and like new every time (too many times to count.)

Baby's best friend Aug 04, 2004
By S. Eastwell My baby takes this puppy with him everywhere! His soft round nose helps with weaning and provides baby with a great companion. He's so much better than an ordinary blankie, and so soft you'll want to cuddle him yourself. :)

I LOVE it May 23, 2005

This is my sons FAVORITE blanket/ toy. I have twins, 9 month old B/G and this is deffinatly Jamies favorite. I love this toy because its safe to keep in the crib, and I dont worry about my son chocking or sufficating from this puppy. It can be used as a blanket for a short while, but he really is a great snuggle toy. He goes great with the my First Puppy Blue, because they look so simillar and my son loves em' both, but the My First Puppy is easier to take around with us. This blanket (blue, how original?) has been thrown up on, sneezed on, drooled on, bitten, cryed on, "made" on, and dragged all over riverhead and he always comes out just as plush as he has always looked, I actually only have one "blue" but about 4-5 babies first puppies!! Blue is soo safe and is absoulutly my sons favorite "security blanket". I loved Blue so much that I bought the pink elephant for my daughter too, the dolls and puppies are no longer the favorites for the twins, the animal blankets are!!!
toddler's best friend Oct 04, 2009
By G. Pasternack We've had 3 of these for 3 years to swap out for our child and it has worked great. Each week we wash one, we leave one at the pre-school for nap time, and we have one in reserve. He has slept with it since he was an infant and it is his most loved stuffy. He particularly likes flopping the ears when he is upset. The dog has washed clean every time, no matter how nasty the stuff is that gets on it.
