Bear blanket Sep 12, 2009
"Bear", as this blanket is fondly called by my two-year-old granddaughter, is a delight. Bear 1 was left by a careless mother on an airline. (Can you believe it?)
And every night poor Sophie called for Bear. "Bear, Mommie?"
Grammie to the rescue with Amazon.com's help. Bear 2 was quickly ordered and delivered.

This blanket is too cool. It's larger than I would have thought, and soooooooo soft and silky. It's washable, which is great! I see there is a choking hazard warning on Amazon. I don't see where they get that from. It seems completely safe.

My new granddaughter's two older brothers each had one of these, both of which were well loved. She simply had to have one too. As soon as I gave it to her, it became a favorite comfort toy. Obviously I wouldn't suggest it go in the crib with a baby under one year old. But now that she is 14 months, she loves holding it as she goes to sleep.

"Pinky Bear" will be a comfy cozy companion to my new grandaughter in her crib and everywhere she goes. It will provide her with security and familiarity.

We only bring this bear out when we are going to fly and its a treat every time.....and a cuddly stuffed animal that acts as a blanket is great for my daughter and me! I now buy this for every traveling friend who is expecting....
