Our family has become HUGE Curious George fans b/c of the PBS show on TV. My 2 kids ages 3 & 1 love the show, so when I came across this adorable George in PJ's I just had to get it! He is SO soft and cuddly. He's the perfect size for little arms to hold. The PJ's and bear are really cute. They were originally sewn on with just a few stitches, but I cut the stitches so my kids could take them off and on. They love dressing George, and cuddling him. He is too cute!!!!

Best friend a kid could have! May 06, 2009

I bought this for my son before he was born hoping it would get him started on liking Curious George being that I was a big fan as a kid myself. He will be turning 2 years old this month and he loves George more than anything! I got him to watch the movie and he can't get enough of it! He's also moved onto the PBS show thanks to his mom and she says he acts like George when he runs around the house! This makes me happy being away in Iraq for the past 5 months knowing that he's become a real big George fan since I've been away! He still sleeps with his curious george and although his pants are half way down most of the time due to torn stitching he loves taking him everywhere! It still looks great and feels so soft and has lasted 2 years! Great product!

Forget teddy bears!! This has become the mascot of my nephew's household. I'm so proud to have been the one to give it to him... he loves CG. This toy is what got him interested in the books, and then the show!! I know, backwards order here. He's rough and tumble with it, too-- chewing on it, sleeping with it, drooling on it, flinging it around. Looks as good as new. Wonderful buy!!

I've been writing a lot of negative/cranky product reviews on Amazon lately, so it's with great pleasure that I now turn to "Curious George in Pajamas," one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
This is exactly what you expect it to be - a plush toy of a monkey wearing PJs. If you like Curious George, or pajamas, or indeed cute things in general, this should be a big hit. I imagine that children will love this toy, while adults with childlike brains (such as myself) will also find it charming and oddly hilarious.
As another positive, George is very soft and fairly durable. His pajamas can get a bit stained and linty with repeated handling, but they are fairly easily cleaned. You just have to clip a few strings to detach the PJs from George for separate washing (you can detach his teddy bear with ease as well).
I forgot to mention the teddy bear before, didn't I? Well, it's the crowning touch, I think. A stuffed animal holding a stuffed animal qualifies as avante-garde, in my view.
In summation: monkeys are fun; pajamas are fun; and monkeys wearing pajamas are twice the fun. In a perfect world, George would find a place of honor in every child's room and every office worker's cubicle in the nation. 'Nuff said.
