This doll was for a granddaughter making it 3 generations now who have had the same doll. It is perfect in relation to the old and older generation ladies who had one when they were babies. Yes, they did make them even when the grandma was a baby.

12" Raggedy Ann Doll with Certificate
This was the best gift I could have ever selected for a child. I loved Raggedy Ann when I was young, and knew another little girl would. Of all the dolls she received for her birthday, this was the only one she wouldn't let go of. Anyone looking for a little girl's dream should look no further.

Classic Doll is Timeless! May 12, 2007
This classic Raggedy Ann doll is a timeless and lovely "must-have" for every little girl. Beautifully detailed and well made, she is exactly as I remember her when I received my first Raggedy Ann from my Grandmother in 1958! (yes, a very long time ago!)Soft and cuddly, safe for a very little child and a great opportunity to use your imagination instead of having something that runs on batteries! Definitely worth the very resonable price!
