we love grover! Jul 09, 2008
this is my 1 year old daughter's absolute favorite lovey. we go nowhere without him! I know the tag says to surface wash, but I throw him in the washing machine anyway. He comes out a little matted, but I'd rather he look a little worn than be stinky! I just bought a back-up (you never know!)

My 2 year old loves Grover. He brings him on every car trip. And kisses him on the nose. But yeah, he tosses Grover out of bed, or sets him across the room at night. My kid doesn't talk yet, so i dunno, maybe the eyes are scary? We dont watch Sesame Street, but have a few books and he's now looking for the other characters as well.Big Bird is the next cutest so we'll see if he's allowed in bed.

Gund has excellent quality, and though it did not come in a box (really my only complaint) Grover is definely the softest stuff animal I have ever come along minus Big Bird who was just a little softer, it's tied with Elmo. I bought almost all the main characters for Christmas for my daughter and when we watch Sesame Street they are alot of fun to play along with, even for adults. With the free shipping this same item actually ended up cheaper than other less expensive sesame street dolls at different sites.
