"Wise Grandmom"
Santa brought Sketchy to my grandson this past Christmas. Max was almost 14 months old. Sketchy immediately became his sleeping buddy, and is to this day. Max is now 17 months old and Sketchy is his best pal who often travels with us and is loved much. The monkey is very soft and cuddly and machine washable. It has the friendliest face and well defined features that are now becoming Max's first words.
In fact, my grandson is so attached to Sketchy, that I purchased a back-up in the event that an unexpected catastrophe occur. Max simply could not do without his monkey.
As far as this indulgent grandmom is concerned this little monkey is worth his weight in gold.

The monkey is very cute. My one year old loves it. It's the perfect size for him to snuggle with at bedtime.

My nephew who was one year at the time and fought with my other nephew for his stuffed frog. I bought this monkey after no luck finding a frog. At first he threw it away, and then after having him sleep with it he got used to it, now he tags it along with him.

Wow!!! The moment my 7 month old son got Sketchy he was wowed! He laughed and rolled all over Sketchy. He was absolutely thrilled with him. I rated the educational value as 5star, for the simple reason that it is up to the parent or guardian to draw that from this toy. Environmental values can be instilled and of course lessons of the wild etc ... (I am very imaginative!)
I pulled at the fur checking for durability and to ensure my son will not be able to bite the fur out. Passed the test.
I strongly recommend Sketchy to any one contemplating the purchase. I also like the color of sketchy, he is a lovely brown.
Needless to say I just adore Sketchy. Your intended little recipient will be thrilled and absolutely delighted.
Stop thinking just buy him! PS: He is more expensive on other sites, and those that carry a lower price the shipping sends it higher than Amazon.

I purchased this for my 2 yr old nephew.
Oliver is a huge fan of monkeys and
already has a nice variety of them..
Everything from Curious George to
a pink monkey festooned with hearts that
he calls his LOVE monkey.
Ever since I put Sketchy into his hands though..
that is the monkey of choice! Not only that..
but my inspection of Sketchy showed me a stuffed
toy with tight strong stitching and plush "fur"
that is good and tight. No shedding so far!
Cute and fun .. gotta love that smile !
