This plush dog was purchased for my infant son to be his lovey. This dog is soft, cuddly and absolutely adorable. And best of all...it is machine washable. I have learned quickly that the item that ends up being the lovey will be abused, dragged around, chewed on and possibly lost. This experience comes from my previous two kids. So we have purchased two of these dogs which we rotate (although when they are old enough, kids will figure it out) and they have held up nicely to repeated washings.

My 18 month old took it out of the box and exclaimed "Doggie! Doggie!" He loves it. It is so soft. I love this product, too!!!!!

This dog is cute and soft, but not "medium". My son saw a picture online, and I tried to describe the dimensions. When it arrived, it was smaller than I had expected. Hopefully on Christmas morning, he won't be as shocked as I was.

THIS TOY HAS LASTED THROUGH MANY WASHING AND A THREE YEAR OLD DRAGGING IT AROUND FOR YEARS. IT IS VERY SOFT AND CUDDLY! GUND MAKES GREAT PRODUCTS!

My son wasn't even born yet when we received Spunky as a baby shower gift. I looked at it and immediately had wished that I bought it for him. Needless to say, he's now three and a half and he won't go anywhere without Spunky.
When looking for other stuffed animals, of the many things that we worried about, it was how well the animals were made. This one is extremely well made. Nothing on it can fall off, so no risk of choking. The material is very well stitched together and hasn't shown any risk of coming apart. It's a very safe stuffed animal for any age child.
We recently came across the puppy dog in a local toy store. We were shocked as we had never seen it before than. We would have bought it on the spot, but it had a rather annoying internal electronic barking mechanism. When we got home, I immediatly searched and ordered the dog on Amazon. Hence this review.
Long story later, it's been a great little friend for our son. In fact, we recently bought the pink one for a new addition to the family. I can't wait to see how that little one gets attached to Spunky!
