My son absolutely loves this bear. He loves it so much in fact that he sleeps with it every night and I can hear him playing the christmas story (it helps him fall asleep).
My boss gave me the bear for my son and it held up really well (even with the playing all night). I always put the lithium batteries in it so it will last longer. When I noticed the one he had appeared to be giving out I figured I should get another one as a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement bear only lasted about 3 months. Again my son uses this bear every night with multiple plays and I'm sure it's not made to withstand that kind of use. Thank god the original one started working again (not sure what was wrong with it). I will be ordering another replacement. I still think it's worth it because I can say this is the one toy that my son probably couldn't live without.

I bought this for my 3 year old grand daughter for christmas and she just loved it and I thought it was fantasic.

I bought the Thanksgiving bear for my daughter and she loved it....this one is just as cute. Gund always makes quality toys and this one lived up to its reputation. Makes a great Christmas gift for any child.

The item I purchased from Amazon.com, Storytime Christmas Bear 16.5", was delivered in a timely fashion, packaged carefully, no damage, and in working condition. The item itself is adorable! The story of Twas the Night Before Christmas is spoken clearly with emphasis. The size of the item is just the right height to put on a mantel, office desk, etc. The fabric on the bear is very soft and cuddly. The bear sitting on Christmas presents and the mouse on the bear's shoulder gave it that perfect detail to the theme of the item. Thank you!

I gave this last year to 2 toddlers 2.5 and 4 they were entranced by it.It is the kind of thing that will be brought out every year and if it stops telling the story it is still a great Christmas Decoration.
