Will last a while.... Aug 11, 2010
I know the dimensions are listed, but for some reason I was surprised at how big/long the caterpillar is. Because it is not like a big stuffed animal (long and thin) it was very easy for my 4 month old to hug and hold. He can easily pull it to his mouth to bite on it. He's almost 6 months now and can focus on one area or another...it is still big for him. So I can see how for the next few months, he'll still be interested because it is big and he can do more and more with it. my 2 year old niece visited and latched onto it and began imagination play.

This colorful caterpillar is adorable, I knew my grandson would enjoy it. At 4 months, he is grabbing at items and pulling them to himself. Every time he grabbed the caterpillar, he squeezed it against himself and tried to teeth on it. It has several nice sounds to entertain including a nice rattle. I think this caterpillar is going to be a favorite as he grows. Recommended.

The sounds this toy makes fascinates babies who are just learning to grasp and control objects. This was my kids favorite toy by far for the first several months so I buy it for every baby shower.

My daughter's nickname is 'Worm' so this toy was just a natural purchase. Little did I know that it was going to be one of her 'go to' toys that she wants to take with her everywhere. There is a mini one available on Amazon as well and it's just as cute. I'm not so sure what the Tinkle part stands for but the rest of the words in it's title name is accurate.
