 Amazing Socks May 09, 2012

I have never written a review but I could not let these socks get a 1-star review. No, they didn't fit my daughter during her first couple of months. Most socks do fall off of the feet of newborns. However, from around 3 months on, she wore them almost everyday during her first year. Her feet were very small and she was still in a size 1 shoe at 7 months so these socks were the best option for us. The socks did stay on her feet as well. People would actually stop me in public places to ask about her socks and comment on how cute they were. I had them in the pastel colors and the jewel tone colors. They also held up well when washed. I give high marks and a recommendation for these socks.

The socks are cute and all, but these are NOT NEWBORN SIZED socks. My baby needed socks that would stay on, and many moms have told me that Trumpette socks are the only brand of socks that will stay on. I was EXCITED to find the newborn Trumpettes on amazon and anxiously awaited my shipment. When the package arrived, I was disappointed to see that the box said the size was not newborn, as advertised, but size 0 to 12 months (big range !). The socks were huge and would definitely not fit my baby anytime in the next few months. They are cute, and they would be great for later, but for now: Return.

I bought these for my beautiful 3 month old niece. These fit well now and still have room for her to grow. She looks so adorable in them and gets a ton of complIments every time she wears them.
