Lovable Lamby Jan 06, 2009
By J. Nelson My "Young Adult" daughter was thrilled to receive this as a replacement for one similar that she had as a tot.
She sleeps with it & was excited that its head gently moved in tune with the music - just like her well-loved, though now tattered original 'lamby'.
stopped playing Dec 14, 2011
By Courtney, mom to 2 after one month of use, the dial only turns half way. very disappointed! it's not like this animal is cheap.
Poorly made Winkie Apr 04, 2011
By RocknRollMon Winkie was a welcome gift for our daughter from her grandparents. From her first night at home, she slept to the beautiful lullaby. Then months later, Winkie started to make a loud cranking sound while playing and the music would stop altogether. Or, the key turn would jam and it wouldn't play music at all. We always were gentle with the key turn and took extra good care of Winkie. It has since stopped working and the key turns and turns with no music at all. The worst part is that our daugher loves Winkie and doesn't understand why it doesn't play music anymore. She will sleep winding and winding the key with no sound. Two other family members were also given the same doll, and they too have since broken.
LOVELY DOLL WITH VERY POOR QUALITY.
Gund Musical Lamb Mar 28, 2011
By Douglas K. Olson I am very sad to see the quality of the music boxes in these lambs. Yes, we have had several and in all but one of them (we have twins) the music box has died. We were very careful to wind them very carefully as the instructions suggest, still, they fail. We have a 23 year old as well and when she was a baby we had a wind-up musical bear from Gund that the music box still works to this day. I just don't know what has happened to this formerly high quality manufacturer.
Great first "friend" Jan 15, 2009
By Gizmo Our first grandchild has decided this is his favorite. The soft texture and light weight make this an ideal first toy.
